Biography: Dr. Istikmal is currently an Associate Professor of telecommunication engineering with Telkom University. He received the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from ITB, in 2019. Previously, he was the Head of the Network and Multimedia Expertise Group, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and the Head of Technology Solutions, Bandung Techno Park (BTP)—Telkom University, which focuses on research commercialization, intellectual property, and technology transfer. He is the Director of the National Center of Excellence for Intelligent Sensing-Internet of Things, Telkom University. His current research interests include intelligent and communication networks, the Internet of Things, adaptive networks, network security, and protocols. Dr. Istikmal is a member of IEEE.
