Biography: Dr Duaa Zuhair Al-Hamid is a
Lecturer in the Computer and Information Sciences Department at Auckland
University of Technology (AUT).
Dr Al-hamid earned her PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from
AUT, a Master's degree in Data Telecommunication Networks. with Distinction,
from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in
Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Technology, Baghdad,
Iraq.
Her research interests are specialized in Wireless Communication, Wireless
Sensing, Internet of Things (IoT), Software Defined Networks, and Network
Digital Twin, which support the design of end-to-end systems. She applies
her expertise in various applications such as Vehicular Networks (VN),
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), healthcare, environmental monitoring, and
disaster management. Her interdisciplinary approach enables her to address
complex challenges across these domains.
